Mallory Butts is the 41st Miss Spelman College!

Announcing Mallory Butts, our first scholarship recipient, has earned the title of Miss Spelman College 2024!  Ms. Butts is entering her 4th year as a dual degree student in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.  She is an aspiring developer of skincare treatments for women of color and has had multiple summer internships with The Estee Lauder Companies.

Zoe Shepard - Shining Example of Black Excellence!


Zoe Shepard is a Mary Giboney Memorial Scholarship recipient.  Currently a 3rd year pre-Med student at Spelman College, she consistently excels academically.  With a cumulative 4.0 GPA, she is consistently an honors student on the Dean's list every semester! She just finished her first internship at Due University Hospital in Durahm, NC!

Announcing the 2025 Black Golfer Association / Giboney Foundation Cabo Golf Retreat


In partnership with The Black Golfer Association Facebook group and Curated Escapes, The Giboney Foundation is proud to announce the 2025 Black Golfer Association / Giboney Foundation Cabo Golf Retreat. This 6-night golf vacation will be located in Cabo San Lucas, MX from May 21-27, 2025.  Hosted at Puerto Bonito Pacifica, this golf retreat will have events at four of Cabo's premier golf courses. Amazon, the world's largest e-commerce retailer and a long-term supporter of The Giboney Foundation, has agreed to be the title sponsor for the 2022 Mary Giboney Memorial Golf Shootout. The event will be held at Bear's Best Atlanta on May 14, 2022!
